"The Chuck and Brad Podcast" features Senior Discount lead-singer Chuck Staton and improv performer Brad Rohrer talking about their lives as musicians, filmmakers, comedians, journalists and most importantly human beings - from their homebase of Providence, RI. They also bring on artists to discuss music, movies, games, books and all manners of pop culture.

Past podcast guests include: Jeff Tremaine (director of the Jackass movies), Kevin Lyman, members of Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, Bowling for Soup, Tsunami Bomb, as well as The Homeless Gospel Choir, JT Habersaat and more.

They also regularly feature artists local to New England like Matt from The Copacetics, comedian Ray Harrington, Disney animator Nick Kole, RI Food Fights owner Jim Nellis, and many more.

Chuck and Brad also regularly perform live comedy shows and podcasts, and moderate panels at pop culture and comic conventions.

Chuck now also writes for Providence Monthly and Motif Magazine

Senior Discount has played hundreds of shows around the East Coast over many years. We've played with such acts as Anti-Flag, Gym Class Heroes, Sum 41, Girl Talk, Boys Like Girls, The Bravery, Guttermouth, Less Than Jake, The Ataris, Leftover Crack, A Wilhelm Scream, the Street Dogs, Zox, Big D and the Kids Table, Darkbuster, The Swingin Utters, Rehab, Mickey Avalon, Streetlight Manifesto, the Bloodshot Hooligans,The Loved Ones, MC Lars, Suburban Legends, Patent Pending, The Toasters, The Pilfers, and many many more. Senior Discount lead singer Chuck Staton has played solo shows with artists like Chuck Ragan (The Revival Tour/Hot Water Music), Dave Hause (The Loved Ones), and Kris Roe (The Ataris).

Our first album "There Were Four Who Tried...", has gotten positive reviews from all over the US (and internationally), including very positive reviews from Maximum Rock N Roll (CA), which boasted, "These guys can rock and scream….a strong full-length," and the revered AbsolutePunk.net, which stated "The band really acts out their emotions….Every track from the album is an anthem to punk rock's principles." Our second release received the comment "These guys slay on record and live!" from mash-up DJ sensation Girl Talk.

We also focus heavily on film production, as we've used short films to promote for our shows and releases. Our one full-length film ("VBW Attack: The Senior Discount Movie") was reviewed by The Noise (Boston) which reported "...let's just say that this DVD is gold and that the band, and those with them, have some mighty winds at their sails." The national television network G4 has bought and aired footage from the film. Lead singer Chuck Staton now works on film projects with Walt and Bryan from Comic Book Men and Brian Quinn from Impractical Jokers, for their podcast Tell 'Em Steve-Dave, which has featured Senior Discount songs on numerous episodes and projects.
In summer of 2018, Kevin Lyman personally added them to the Hartford date of the 2018 Warped Tour, and Vinnie Fiorello from Less Than Jake signed the band to Paper + Plastick Records for their newest album, "The Best Revenge."
